I grew up in Columbus, Ohio as the eldest of five children, and learned early from my parents, that nothing works like work. I have since made my living and retired in the field of Information Technology. I learned also from my parents an abiding faith in our Creator and love for our nation, the United States of America. They also taught me something that I have found to be timeless and priceless – that people are more important than things and that they can be best judged by the content of their character.

I don’t know that there was anything that distinguished me more as a youth than the often perceived accusation that I tended to “…march to the beat of a different drummer,” to which I plead guilty. That tendency drives me to ask questions that are not popular or seek solutions that may be overlooked or even avoided, to issues that press upon our lives.

I am currently chairman of The Constitution Party of Missouri and I served as chairman of The Constitution Party of Idaho for seven years. As a personal outreach then and now, my wife, Susan, and I have held and continue to organize public and private forums to teach the principles of liberty and of the proper role of government through the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. I have also actively lobbied local and legislative bodies in a private capacity on issues of tax relief, limited government, empowering the people, and strengthening the family.

I’ve always considered myself a common Citizen of little consequence, but it has been the common, hardworking, moral, innovative, and independent Citizens of our Republic, who have lifted our nation to heights unparalleled in the history of nations.
